The latest RunningLog release includes layout changes within the user dashboard sections and an important update to the free plan. Free plan users can now view their last 10 completed races, even if those are older than 12 months. This means that runners who took a break in the last few months or only race a few times per year can still see their most recent results and plan as many future races as they want.
Small changes, big impact
From a technical perspective, this deployment is not a big deal. But every change had to be carefully reviewed and refined to ensure it actually improves the value brought to users. User experience is something I always have in mind when developing products – implementing the features and making the changes that keep users coming back is what matters.
What’s next
The results of this deployment should show in the coming weeks. For now, the focus is on marketing to reach as many people as possible and exploring new channels. On the development side, Garmin integration is a strong candidate for the next release – but I’m also open to feedback and requests from users to see what they expect next.
In case you’re wondering, the release went smoothly to the live environment and everything is working as expected. The app is running without any disruption, and runners can log or import their race results in seconds.
