Hey, I'm Radu
I'm a teach lead, founder, and avid runner based in Bucharest, Romania. I build software applications and I'm passionate about creating tools that help people achieve their goals.
Over the years, I've worked on everything from enterprise automation to bootstrapped SaaS products. When I'm not coding, you'll find me running trails, pushing hard on races, or planning my next adventure.
My Journey
Launched RunningLog and Planaro
Built and launched two SaaS products: RunningLog for runners to track their races, and Planaro for social media content planning and management.
Half Marathon Personal Record
Set a new half marathon PR of 1h:26m, improving by nearly 20 minutes from my first attempt.
Organized weekly runs with Craiova Running Club
Organized weekly Sunday runs, bringing together the local running community.
Climbed Moldoveanu Peak
Reached the summit of Moldoveanu (2,544m), Romania's highest peak.
Run first ultramarathon
Completed Ultra Zarand race in 12h. The race started at 10:00 PM and had a distance of 85km with 3500m elevation gain.
First Half Marathon
Completed my first half marathon in 1h:44m, pushing the pace hard on the final 3km climb on the road to Poiana Brasov.
400km Cycling Brevet
Completed the 400km randonneurs cycling brevet in 20 hours.
Enterprise Automation & First 2500m Peak
Started working on enterprise automation projects. Also climbed Parângu Mare (2,519m), my first peak over 2,500 meters.
Joined Boutique Dev Agency
Started working at a small development agency, working on diverse web projects.
AIESEC National Conference
Part of the team that organized an AIESEC national conference.
Joined AIESEC
Handled creation of marketing materials and promoted projects to university and high school students.
InfoEducatie National Phase
Qualified for and attended the national phase of InfoEducatie, Romania's largest IT competition for high school students.
Internship in Vienna & First InfoEducatie Qualification
Completed an internship at Red Hot Solutions in Vienna during high school. Also qualified for Infoeducatie national phase (couldn't attend due to Vienna internship).
