Roundtables with founders at Impact Builders by How to Web and AmpliFY ONG

The Impact Builders event of March 2026 brought together founders, investors, and NGO representatives. The startups presented were at different stages – some had received funding, others were bootstrapping. But regardless of stage, one thing was clear: understanding that building a product is not like a video game is just the starting point.

Real products have an impact on people’s lives. Buzzwords might look good at first glance, but those alone don’t bring any value to users. Products need to serve the user and make a real difference.

The problems that matter

Hearing the story of Echo Elderly Care was eye-opening. It’s a reminder of how areas that make a day-and-night difference in people’s lives are often overlooked. With the rise of AI tools, it looks like there’s a race to build more and more software while leaving out the real problems that actually need solving.

The event was a stage for founders who are working towards improving people’s lives. It’s the kind of event that opens your perspective and makes you want to do more – to explore new niches, to reassess how much you can achieve with the resources available to you.

The gap between what’s built and what’s possible

There’s a huge gap between what’s currently being built and what can be achieved with the tools available to everyone today. Founders need to step out of their comfort zone and find the problems that deserve their focus and energy. The tools are there. The opportunity is there. What’s often missing is the willingness to go after the harder, less glamorous problems.
